Following the lead of a small Chinese take away shop in Newcastle who enjoyed a steep drop in crime after they put a sign up in their window reading 'CHUCK NORRIS PROTECTS THIS PROPERTY', I have been combining the power of Chuck with the power of Reptilia, and so far..... no crime!

more bear time.
my next forray into the world of words. i know that it ends with a man resigning himself to live out the rest of his life in an underground basement room in new your in which an entire wall is covered by lightbulbs and listening to louis armstrong at a deafening level.

i'll let you know.

just finished this book. it's pretty good. won the booker prize in '91. my god it gets annoying, it's been a real pain. last couple of chapters he gets so post modern he can't even see the last bleeding sentence he wrote. and look at him!!! the word that springs to mind is squinty. somehow he just doesn't carry it off the same as thom york.

saying this, i've never won the booker prize, and he's evidently a very clever man, and the reason i got so peeved at the last chapters were because i'd willingly and happily trundled through the rest of it. so maybe i'm the arse. who knows.

i finally got taught how to letterpress- yeah!!
my lowly first attempts...
it seems i've been a bit lax on the old writing bit of this whole excercise... i certainly wouldn't be interested in what i have to say.. i'm not even interested in it enough to write t dwn.

however, i feel it my duty to share something.....

this is a kind of wierd, but very satisfying canadian radio show.... http://wfmu.org/playlists/NP

i have re-discovered this song, i was snoozing on a bus, and woke up to this song and it made my whole day so much better! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBikNb5oEcU

and while we're on the subject this is mst certainly the best video ever made...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbt30UnzRWw

the pictures i've just gone and dumped below are pretty representative of what i'm up to dans la momento- that one man band thing has just been hooked up to an amp so i have to re-build and reinforce it and you lovely people, should you exist at all shall be graced with a multimedia type video format type thing. yeah.

then there's some type... h and the bear... i like him, he's for a book of bears. oh yeah and my king trash poster- that's a work in progress too- eventually will have type and planes and not be a piece of photoshop crap.. but it's kind of cool.

that'll do for now i should think.

it's a one man band soundsystem... still working on it..
